About Community Housing Network, Inc.

Community Housing Network strengthens communities by connecting people to housing resources. We collaborate with community partners to provide inclusive long-term housing for vulnerable residents of our community. This includes people who are homeless, have a disability, are victims of domestic violence and/or have low-income. We help provide the opportunity to live as fully integrated, participating citizens. Our principal belief is that inclusive communities help in the deconcentration of poverty and creation of successful, stronger, more vibrant neighborhoods.

We have developed 689 units of affordable housing since we began in 2001. As the largest permanent supportive housing provider in Oakland and Macomb counties, we work closely with HUD and others addressing homelessness. In 2015, our Housing Resource Center (HRC) took 18,924 calls ranging from utility help to foreclosure and we assisted 537 households in mortgage or property tax delinquency and 803 with home buyer education. We assist people with a disability, and their family, in creating successful long-term housing plans.
