Unified Group Services is a unique Third Party Administrator (TPA) that combines the resources of a large national firm with the personalized attention of a small local company. Unified has a solid history of TPA knowledge and expertise, substantial client growth, and a high rate of client retention. Our main focus is processing Medical, Dental, Vision, Rx and Flex for self funded employer groups. Our services include processing Disability Claims, HSAs, HRAs, and a custom Wellness programming for clients. Among our distinctive differentiators is our attention to customer service & a commitment to a turnaround time of five business days. We provide a Dedicated Claims Account Manager to handle claims processing & a Dedicated Eligibility Representative to handle additions, changes and deletions as well as on-going COBRA notification and premium collection. Our commitment to client service is well demonstrated with our Live Answer Phone System. Receptionists, not automated voice systems, answer calls during our normal business hours. Unified started business in 1996 with just two owners from the sunroom of one of their homes with no startup capital only trust and determination. From that small start of two employees they moved to Pendleton where they expanded that office area three times before moving to a larger location in Anderson in 2004.

In 2008 Unified added a large addition to the building to accommodate the growth. In the thirteen years of business, Unified has expanded their client base by acquiring three TPA's and adding several new employment positions. Unified has a large portion of their original employees still working for them or if they have retired several have returned to help out during the busy season.

The turnover rate at Unified is very low which is quite a testimony to the enjoyable atmosphere that Unified tries to create for their employees. Management realizes that everyone puts in forty hours or more a week at work so they strive to maintain a fun, pleasant work environment that helps everyone get through the day. Our employees are truly seen as our internal customers and are like family so every effort is made to make them a priority.
