About Opportunities for Positive Growth

Opportunities for Positive Growth, Inc is a human service agency committed to providing meaningful and dignified support to individuals with developmental disabilities focusing on a person's skill development to improve the individual's quality of life. We are certified through The Division of Disability, Aging, and Rehabilitative Services (DDARS) and The Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) for the state of Indiana to provide specific services for individuals with developmental disabilities. We serve children, adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities. The ages of our clients range from 5 to 60 years old. The majority of our clients are autistic or mentally retarded with communication disorders. Each of our client's have specific goal driven objectives to support living skills, self advocacy skills and individual growth.

The support provided is outstanding. The communication is great. The newsletter keeps all employees informed no matter the location.

It's a great job, you always get praised when doing a good job and your making a difference here. And the customers are awesome!

What formal training have you found most valuable?

Hands-on experience. I have been allowed and encouraged to do on-the-job training, which has been invaluable.

The people, it's the people that own OPG, the people that manage the organization, and the people we support!

It is highly organized and everyone is caring of the individuals that we work for and the employees as well.

Provides constructive feedback and communicates well. Makes employees feel appreciated and deserving.
