YOUR GUIDE TO THE TWIN CITIES

Monarch HealthCare is an Independent Practice Association (“IPA”) and is the largest physician organization in Orange County. Formed in 1994, Monarch HealthCare is contracted with more than 2,300 independent, private-practice physicians who provide health care for approximately 175,000 Orange County residents. Monarch partners with affiliated physicians to coordinate health care services so that quality, medical outcomes and customer satisfaction is enhanced. Recognized by health plans and business groups for providing high quality care and excellent service, Monarch HealthCare is operated by physicians who have demonstrated their commitment to advancing medical excellence and exemplifying the “patient-first” philosophy of healthcare in their communities.
Monarch HealthCare was named, not for the Monarch butterfly which serves as the company's logo, but for Monarch Beach, CA, the location where the company was established in 1994.
Monarch HealthCare was one of five physician groups in the nation selected by the Brookings-Dartmouth organization to participate in a national Accountable Care Organization pilot project. The ACO model brings together coordinated networks of providers with shared responsibility to provide the highest value care to their patients.
