Major Tool & Machine was founded by Wilford Brown and Charlie Davis in 1946. Through acquaintance with the Davis family, John Weyreter joined Major Tool & Machine and eventually became the sole proprietor. John's son, Steve Weyreter is the current CEO of Major Tool. The company has over 500,000 square feet of manufacturing space, nestled in the heart of the historic Martindale Brightwood community. We have convenient access to downtown with close by bus transit stops, the Monon Trail, or by easy commute from any local interstate connecting to I70. Our employees enjoy free secured parking.
