HomeBankSB is a full service, community bank with assets of more than $210 million. Originally based in Martinsville, Indiana, the Martinsville Building Loan Fund and Saving Bank opened its doors to the community on July 2, 1885. The community quickly realized the benefits of gaining interest on their deposits and took pride in the bank's effort to grow Morgan County with real estate loans generated from their savings.
Currently, we serve customers from two branches and a drive-thru in Martinsville, Indiana. Our third locations is another full-service branch and drive-thru in Mooresville, Indiana. New expansion plans will bring a new full-service branch and retail sales center to Greenwood, Indiana in 2008. We have full-service ATMs at each of our banking locations.
On February 21, 1890, the business was reorganized as the Home Building Association. In the years that followed, it helped everyday people realize a goal that many thought was out of reach: owning their own homes. As the community grew, the Home Building Savings and Loan Association continued to encourage thrift and home ownership. By early 1990's, we became known as HomeBank, reflecting the dramatic changes in the financial services world.
