The ministries and activities of Grace Community Church arise out of our purpose, which is to love people into a responsive and maturing relationship with Jesus Christ and connect them into authentic communities. Each weekend, Grace holds worship services two unique venues. The GraceMain gathering - the original venue at Grace - is a worship experience that combines music, drama, media, and teaching based on the Bible and its timeless message of hope and redemption. The Sojourn worship experience provides an alternative worship expression that allows for a smaller community feel. A thriving children's ministry provides age-appropriate teaching to infants through fifth grade. Students in Middle School and High School grow in their faith through a mix of small and large group time each week. Men of Grace, Women of Grace, and Grace Groups ministries all provide opportunities for individuals to build a deepening connection with God and others.
Grace Community Church was born out of Faith Missionary Church and began on September 8, 1991 in a warehouse where an electronics store now sits on 146th street across from Clay Terrace. In 1997, the church moved into new space east of Gray Rd. on 146th Street. A ministry and building expansion, kicked off in 2005 and recently completed, added additional gathering space for children and students as well as a new worship auditorium and expanded lobby space. David Rodriguez has been Senior Pastor of the church from the beginning.
