Genisys, locally owned and controlled continues to receive BauerFinancial's 5-star rating for financial safety and soundness. Genisys was the first CU to take financial responsibility to a new level by partnering with FamilyMint, a free hands-on budgeting tool that provides parents and grandparents with an interactive online resource to teach children about financial literacy and the importance of saving.

In 2010 Genisys received many honors including a MCULAF Forum Appreciation Award, a Michigan Marketing Award from the MCUL and a Community Partner Award from OLHSA.
