Enertech was founded August 1987 (formerly the Nuclear Group of Paul-Munroe Hydraulics, Inc.) as a privately-held company and was acquired by Curtiss-Wright Corporation in August 1998. The Curtiss-Wright heritage can be traced back to one of the most innovative moments in modern history, the Wright Brothers’ first flight at Kitty Hawk in 1903. The products helped launch the USS Nautilus, the world’s first nuclear powered submarine, and contributed to the startup of the United States’ first commercial power plant at Shippingport, Pennsylvania.
