Dedicated to serving the needs of seniors for more than 11 years, Brightview Senior Living owns and manages 19 senior living communities in 9 states, four of which are in the Boston area. Brightview’s mission is to create comfortable, stimulating residential-living environments with outstanding services at a good value. Community offerings include Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care, which serves the needs of those with Alzheimer’s disease or other memory limitations. Independent Living is designed for seniors desiring a more convenient, care-free lifestyle. Assisted Living additionally accommodates each resident’s needs for physical assistance with tasks such as medication management, grooming, and bath safety. Memory Care residents benefit from an award-winning program of care that encourages self-reliance and fosters a sense of belonging. Brightview’s mission is entrusted to more than 1,800 associates who are highly committed to their work to help seniors live vibrant, fulfilling lives.
Brightview has received awards for interior and exterior design, which is gratifying for an organization committed to being a great place to live and a great place to work. There has also been recognition for excellence in operation and management, supporting the simultaneous goal of being a great place to work. Such commendations are an honor. Each Brightview community does its best to achieve the highest scores in internal Resident Satisfaction based on a third-party survey. Top honors are awarded to communities where 100% of residents would recommend the community to others. Deserving associates are rewarded for exemplary service to residents. Exceptional Service, Teamwork, and Hospitality are the premier awards along with the coveted Caregiver of the Year Award. In fact, two Brightview-honored Caregivers of the Year were also honored with national and state awards of the same title by the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA.) In 2010, a Brightview associate was one of 6 individuals selected nationally for the prestigious ALFA Hero award for her outstanding service to residents. This year Brightview also won an ALFA Best of the Best Award for its Leader-Led Star Coaching program designed to promote proactive on-going conversations about performance.
