About Indiana Members Credit Union

We are a full-service financial institution that offers various saving accounts, checking accounts, online services, business products, consumer and business loans, mortgage loans and more. As a credit union, we are member owned and are governed by the members through an elected volunteer Board of Directors.

I get to be creative and am always doing something new and different. The executives always make us feel appreciated and take care of us. We are just like a big family!

What formal training have you found most valuable?

IMCU consistently offers training on products, services, sales, etc. Anything you could want to learn how to be more efficient on, is available at your fingertips.

I really enjoy what I do. I am managed enough to know that someone is always there for help, but am free to be creative. I love the people I work for and with.

I enjoy the people I work with and really like what I do. I get to interact in many different situations and I feel my manager listens and values my opinion.

What contributes most to your recommending working at this organization to others?

He is an amazing CEO and a genuine person. He really cares for his employees and we have awesome incentives. This truly is a great place to work!!

My manager is great about keeping an open line of communication as well as providing support and the tools necessary to help me perform my job.

The atmosphere is great around here and I'm motivated because everyone at IMCU works hard and does their best work, for the best of the company.

We always have a good time while doing our daily tasks, and I always feel like we are noticed and rewarded for the good things we do.

What impresses you most about senior management's understanding of what is happening in this organization?

They listen and they ask for our ideas, suggestions and comments. They tell us when we do a good job.

I enjoy helping the members with their financial decisions. I also enjoy the people I work with. It's like one big happy family.

What formal training have you found most valuable?

Round table discussions at monthly managers meetings and integrity coaching sessions help all feel comfortable discussing issues.

My initial teller training was most valuable to me. It made me appreciate everyone that makes our credit union so great!

I enjoy where I work and enjoy the company as a whole. They are very concerned for their employees and their well-being.

Being able to go to seminars and take webinars pertaining to what I do everyday is the most valuable training for me.

Indiana Members Credit Union was established in 1956 by the employees of the Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis. As of December 2009, IMCU has 27 branch locations, more than 108,000 members and more than $1.2 billion in assets. We also have two locations in the Boulder, Colorado, area serving the employees of Ball Corporation.
