Central Engineering and Construction Associates, Inc. specializes in underground utility contracting. Central has experienced foremen and sewer crews who install sanitary sewers, storm sewers and water main subsurface drains. We work with municipalities, developers, governmental agencies and general contractors on a variety of infrastructure projects.

This family owned company, spanning three generations, was established in 1933 by Albert J. Horth Jr. Today, operations are run by Albert's granddaughter, Karen Horth Powers, president and CEO, who joined the company in the early 1980's. Central Engineering is proud that it has never defaulted on a project, contract or bond. In our 76-year history, a bond request has never been denied, allowing the company to maintain the same bonding authority since 1940. Central Engineering is one of the longest-standing, signatory union contracting firms in Indiana.
