• Roger Bouchard sold his first policy from a rented store front in downtown Clearwater in 1948. Today the agency operates as a privately-held, independent agency with almost 200 employees serving the Florida Community through four offices throughout Southwest and Central Florida. An internal ownership perpetuation plan is in place to allow Bouchard Insurance to remain a privately-held, independent agency. • Bouchard is committed to employee education by providing in-house training programs including PRODUCER IN TRAINING, a two year program designed to teach insurance concepts and sales techniques to new producers, INCUBATOR & MANAGERS FORUM, programs to promote and support leadership / management ideas and build for management opportunities and conducts an annual two day sales training and seminar at Bouchard University. • Education seminars, taught by staff members, are provided free to clients and prospects on insurance/risk management, safety and HR related topics.
