Blue Cod creates, hosts, and supports policy processing solutions to the property & casualty industry. We provide full business process outsourcing services to insurance carriers across the United States. We have built and maintained hosted solutions for a wide variety of customers from small, regional companies to specialty lines of business in major national insurance companies.

We also offer an array of consulting services, including business rules automation and web-based processing solutions. We have developed and support an array of customized software solutions that have helped our customers reduce processing costs and improve efficiencies.

But more importantly, Blue Cod was founded on the idea that people, not technology, drive the business world. Quality services and products will come from quality individuals, and for this reason, our people and their integrity, dedication, and ability are the essence of our company. Our people bring different skills, backgrounds, and perspectives to our company but are united by a shared vision, mutual respect, and a solid work ethic. The result is a powerful force of dedicated, business savvy professionals. We call ourselves Codders.

We are a 9 year old, boot strapped "start-up" that specialized in creating software for the P & C industry. We evolved into a BPO model and have developed specialties in windstorm insurance along the Gulf Coast and Earthquake policies in California. Both of these models allow our customers to "Outsource to Massachusetts" where their data and IT resources are safe from the ravages of those natural disasters.

Where did we get that funny name? We wanted a name that salutes our industrious New England heritage and evokes the entrepreneurial spirit that created us. Massachusetts grew up on the fishing industry and its history of hard work, innovation, dedication to purpose, and irrepressible optimism. These are the values upon which we build our company. So we borrowed our name from New England’s oldest and greatest natural resource, the Atlantic Cod, and merged it with our newest economic resource, computer technology.
