About Meals on Wheels and More

Meals on Wheels and More seeks to nourish and enrich the lives of the homebound and other people in need through services that promote dignity and independent living. We are a multi-service organization of more than 6,500 volunteers reaching more than 5,000 neighbors in need. Our meal delivery will always be the central focus of our agency. But we recognize our clients require other services in order to be able to live independently in their homes. We provide clients with holistic case management services, including home repair, both major and minor in scope, rides to and from the grocery store, phone friends and for our most nutritionally at-risk clients, extra supplies of shelf-stable foods every month.

We also serve at-risk children a dinner meal through our partnerships with local afterschool programs, deliver frozen meals to individuals in rural areas, provide group meals for 12 senior centers in Central Texas and operate an activity and respite care center called Mike's Place for individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia, we also offer pet-care assistance for the pets of our clients.
