About Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools

The Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose School District (BHM), established in 1857, serves the three Wright County communities and its surrounding townships. The BHM student population has approximately 5,707 students spanning across six elementary schools, a middle school, a high school, an alternative high school and a transitions school for 18-21 year-old students with special needs. BHM Schools prides itself on having many of the student opportunities you would find in the metro area, located within the confines of a smaller school district. Lifelong learning is part of the strong foundation of BHM Schools and its communities.

From early childhood development through higher education, Buffalo, Hanover and Montrose are truly dedicated to providing only the finest educational experience possible to its residents.
