The Better Business Bureau is a non-profit membership association dedicated to building a marketplace where businesses and consumers can trust one another. We encourage businesses to practice voluntary self-regulation in the interest of upholding high business ethics and ensuring a fair marketplace for business competition. We also offer a variety of free services and resources to the public, including validated reviews on thousands of companies, dispute resolution, consumer tips, outreach and education to seniors, and fraud alerts. In this past year, the BBB received 24,000 consumer complaints.
Supported by our 6400 member businesses, our services are always free to consumers. As the first Better Business Bureau in the nation, our organization has led the way for BBBs across the United States and Canada, as we celebrate our Centennial this year.
“Our mission; to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust.”
“The people, the building, the work. The BBB has a great group of hard working yet fun staff. ”
“I feel like I have the opportunity to ask questions about all aspects of BBB operations, administration etc. I am given the opportunity to try new things, modify procedures and be creative.”
“The management team is open to input from staff and considers suggestions and implements those they feel are appropriate. We have a very open workplace, which starts from the top with our CEO.”
