About Angie's Artisan Treats, LLC dba Angie's Kettlecorn

Angie's Kettle Corn, based in Mankato, Minnesota, is one of the nation's leading kettle corn brands. Its three varieties of kettle corn - Classic, Caramel and Lite - are sold in grocery and health food stores, as well at professional sporting events. Shoppers can find Angie's in 50 states at stores including SuperTarget, Whole Foods, Costco and SuperValu-owned stores. Ten years ago, Angie's was a small, family venture founded by Dan and Angie Bastian to build a college fund and show their children that dreams can come true through hard work.

While still working in full-time jobs (he was a teacher and she was a nurse), they popped the first batches of Angie's Kettle Corn at night in their garage and sold it at weekend events. Today, the popping operation is located in much larger quarters, turning out roughly 80,000 bags each day. Made of four simple ingredients - popcorn, corn oil, sugar and sea salt - Angie's Kettle Corn is a healthy snack that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It is gluten-free and is made one batch at a time in cured kettles in an allergen-free production facility. The growing popularity of Angie's Kettle Corn is evidence that its fans find it to also be delicious. Interesting Facts: Angie's Kettle Corn has been endorsed as the official kettle corn of the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx professional sports teams. The company has been recognized by communities dedicated to promoting allergen-free and gluten-free products as an all-natural snack, one that parents can feel safe sharing with their families. Angie's has also been kosher certified. Local and national media are highlighting Angie's Kettle Corn. In March 2011, Food & Wine magazine highlighted Angie's Lite, and founders Dan and Angie Bastian appeared on the Martha Stewart Show on the Hallmark Channel in January 2011.
