About Scott Miller

In 1985, Scott and Helen Miller opened a small salon in Fairport, NY with one simple goal: to provide the best service in a beauty destination filled with sought-after, hard-to-find luxury products. We envisioned a beauty resource for western New York ? a place where creativity flourishes, clients are royalty, styles au courant and education ongoing. In 1998, we moved the operation to Pittsford. The new Scott Miller was an oasis of everyday luxury. Until then, brands like Bumble and bumble, Oribe, Kérastase, Bobbi Brown, NARS, Jo Malone, Acqua di Parma and La Mer were only to be found in metropolitan areas hours away.

We opened our second location in Webster in 2008 to better serve our clients and community. To be exceptional, quality education is essential. We have an intensive in-house two-year education program for new hires regardless of previous certification and experience. We are departmentalized because we specialize. Our stylists cut and style. Colorists color. We believe the end results are better in our inch wide mile deep philosophy. In providing our clients with an outstanding immersive experience, we hope to have lifelong partners in beauty and health.
