About The Children's Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center
The Children's Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center, established in 1893, is an independent non-profit organization whose purpose is promote the health and well-being of infants and children through services which establish and strengthen the family. The Children's Home is a 3 program organization which includes a licensed infant Adoption program, Child's Way, a day care for medically fragile children ages birth to 8 and a 24-bed licensed Pediatric Specialty Hospital. Our facility also provides a Family Living Area for families with patients in our Hospital.
Families are able to stay overnight with their child, while learning about their medical care in a home-like setting.
