About Indiana Donor Network

Indiana Donor Network is the organization responsible for overseeing and coordinating organ, tissue and eye donation across the state. Our mission is to save and to enhance lives through donation and transplantation. As one of 58 designated organ recovery organizations in the U.S., Indiana Donor Network serves as a vital link between people waiting for lifesaving organ transplants and donors. Specifically, Indiana Donor Network: • Provides Hoosiers with information needed to register their donation decision within the Indiana Donor Registry.

(We are on pace to take over 22,000 donation referrals this year.) • Evaluates potential donors for medical suitability to donate organs and/or tissue. • Coordinates the donation process according to federal regulations. • Offers grief support services to families before, during and after donation. • Educates health care professionals about donation. • Assists Indiana hospitals in developing donation policies and procedures.
