About Stewart Memorial Community Hospital

Stewart Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed critical access hospital. It is the largest employer in Calhoun County. Its employees reside in 41 different surrounding communities, which includes 13 healthcare providers. With its affiliate, McCrary Rost Clinic, it provides general and orthopaedic surgery, obstetric care and a state of the art birthing center. Physical, occupational, respiratory and infusion therapy are provided on site. Diagnostics include nerve conduction testing, stress testing, sonography, bone density testing, MRI, CT scans and laboratory testing.

Home care and hospice services are available as well as Sleep Studies, Cardiac Rehabilitation (Phase 1 Phase 2 and Phase 3) provided on site and retail pharmacy services located at each of the clinic locations. Leased space in our facility provides services to local dental and vision clinics and outpatient contracted physicians for 12 specialty clinics. An occupational health service program was initiated in 2011.
