Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) is a customer-owned financial cooperative based in Omaha, Nebraska, with 42 retail lending offices in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming. FCSAmerica serves the financial needs of nearly 60,000 farmers, ranchers, rural residents and agribusinesses. We provide financial products, services and solutions for agriculture and rural America, including real estate, operating, equipment, facility and mortgage loans, plus leasing and crop insurance. Our 2011 financial results included nearly $17 billion in assets, $2.9 billion in members' equity and $456.4 million in net income.
Established as part of the Farm Credit System chartered in 1916, FCSAmerica is governed by a 17-member board of directors. The customer-owners of the Association elect 14 directors — three directors are appointed by the board.
