The Mental Health Center of Denver is committed to enriching lives and minds by focusing on the strengths and recovery of those impacted by mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders. Our comprehensive outpatient and community-based programs are designed with the recognition that success in treatment depends upon having safe affordable housing, access to primary care, quality education and employment programs, convenient access to transportation and natural supports in the community. Our Adult Recovery Services department provides outpatient treatment for persons with mental illness and substance abuse.
Our Child & Family Services department offers a variety of programs for infants, children, adolescents, and families living with mental illness and emotional disturbance. Our Rehabilitation Services department supports clients’ recovery through education, employment and skills-building programs that include vocational training; peer support; job placement; job coaching; transitional employment; college prep and on-campus support; and programs to develop talents in the visual and performing arts.
