About The Children's Home of Cincinnati

Founded in 1864, The Children’s Home of Cincinnati is a private, nonprofit organization that serves vulnerable children facing significant social, behavioral, and learning challenges. Its mission is to create lasting results that strengthen families and our community by guiding individuals from infancy to independence - through comprehensive education, behavioral and health services. The children served by The Children’s Home may have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, poverty, or other factors that inhibit their healthy growth and development.

As a result, they need help to manage their emotions and behaviors and overcome learning challenges to reach their full potential. Through 20+ campus and community-based programs, our skilled staff help children overcome their challenges and succeed in their home, school, and community settings. Last year, the organization made a deep and lasting impact in the lives of over 7,800 individuals.
