About City Gospel Mission

Serving Greater Cincinnati since 1924, City Gospel Mission helps homeless & hurting break the cycle of poverty and despair through 4 key areas: Food/Shelter, Recovery, Jobs, & Youth Development We collaborate with over 450 churches & 2,500 volunteers to annually serve 6,800 adults & 9,800 youth in a variety of one-to-one, relationship-focused programs & services Food/Shelter: We annually serve 96,600 nutritious meals & provide 26,600 nights of safe shelter. Recovery: We offer men’s & women’s long-term residential addiction recovery programs.

50% of participants remain sober 5 years after graduating. Jobs: Through our job training & placement program, we annually place over 150 job-seekers w/40 Cincinnati companies. We have 70 mentors helping men & women at River City Correctional Center transition back into society. Youth: Our tutoring/mentoring program impacts over 1,300 at-risk youth at more than 60 sites throughout Greater Cincinnati. Our students increase reading 1-2 grade levels yearly. We also offer programs involving summer camps, college scholarships, basketball, ballet, horseback riding, Hispanic outreach & more.
