Serving Greater Cincinnati since 1924, City Gospel Mission helps the homeless and hurting break the cycle of poverty and despair through four key areas: Food/Shelter, Recovery, Jobs and At-risk Youth. We collaborate with more than 350 churches to annually serve 9,200 adults and 12,000 youth with a variety of one-to-one, relationship-focused programs and services. Food/Shelter: We annually serve 139,000 nutritious meals and provide 29,000 nights of safe shelter. We provided more than 3,000 families with a Thanksgiving food basket. Recovery: We offer men's and women's long-term addiction recovery programs, which include transitional housing and aftercare.
Jobs: We offer job readiness, job placement and mentoring services, and our Green Recycling Works social enterprise provides transitional employment for recovery program graduates. Youth: Our tutoring and mentoring program impacts more than 1,300 at-risk youth at more than 60 sites throughout Greater Cincinnati. We also offer programs involving summer camps, college scholarships, basketball, ballet, cycling, teen outreach, horseback riding, Hispanic outreach and more.
