WCC serves over 14,000 credit students each fall and winter semester, and employs over 3,000 full- and part-time faculty and staff; students from over 100 countries study at the College. Degree and certificate programs in Computer Security/Forensic, Custom Cars and Concepts, 3D Animation, Digital Video Production and Advanced Manufacturing make Washtenaw Community College a standout among two-year institutions across the country. Online, blended and weekend classes provide expanded access to WCC's comprehensive list of technical and liberal arts transfer programs. Youth studies and mentorship programs at the WCC Harriet Street and Parkridge Community Centers in Ypsilanti serve struggling youth and young adults, and the Washtenaw Technical Middle College is has been honored repeatedly for its innovative approach in merging high school and college studies. The Health & Fitness Center at Washtenaw Community College is a Gold LEED facility and national model for green building practices.
