In-House Hospice and Palliative Care encourages a philosophy of care that assists hospice patients, caregivers, family and friends with chronic conditions and during the final stages of terminal illness. In-House promotes dignity and emphasizes quality of life for those who choose to die in familiar surroundings with the ones they love. Additionally, In-House offers a comprehensive Palliative Care program. Palliative Care is a pro-active consultative service that provides pain and symptom management, patient/family/caregiver support, counseling and guidance regarding medical decisions, and coordinates and collaborates with all providers involved in the patient's care. It can be provided while the patient is receiving life-prolonging treatments and / or skilled care.

Our business has continually grown from a census of 3 patients in 1997 to a census of more than 500 patients in 2010. We have many employees who have been recognized on both a state and national level for Education and Leadership. We only get one chance to make our patient's end of life goals become a reality. Like in the instance of Phil Timmons, a 46 year quadraplegic, whose life long wish was to go to a Detroit Tiger game. (Call for more specific details regarding this story)
