HMX is captained by two MIT Grads. Their instruments of choice are drums and clarinet. They have yet to publicly duet.HMX actually spans 2 buildings in Central Sq.Since burying cables under busy Mass Ave was out of the question, HMX connects its employees via LASER POWERED INTERNETIt's estimated that 85% of HMX employees play an instrument and around 50 employees are in active bands or music projects around the city.HMX hosts a weekly lunch called “Weely”. Legend has it that “weekly” was misspelled in the first calendar appointment and the name just stuck.HMX' offices contain a hidden practice space, where employee bands are able to kick out the jams without leaving the block! HMX' co-founders challenged employees to a companywide acappella contest and named it the “On a Boat” challenge. The reward was a Boston Harbor boat-hosted dance party, complete with the co-founders in Love-Boat inspired captain outfits.HMX' smash hit Dance Central is, at least in part, named for their Central Square home in Cambridge.HMXhas been in the Globes To Work multiple times and we're very very proud of that.
