The Top Workplaces Fund, which tracks public companies with high levels of organizational health, was up 4.7% in August versus a 1.5% rise for the S&P500 Index.
The star performers were:
- Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (+32.3%)
- Acme Packet (+22.2%)
- Viropharma (+22.2%)
- Francesca’s collection (+15.3%)
- Cyberonics (+15.2%)
Overall 31 of the 46 stocks in the fund were up in the month.
The fund is now up 11.5% since the start of the year and up 101% since October 2008
